Lunch! Today's lunch all comes from the official Elder Scrolls Cookbook, which I've made quite a few recipes since getting it for Christmas! They've all been delightful so far ^^

We've got Redguard Rice (ground lamb and wild rice), Stewed Apples and Eidar Cheese (sweetened spiced stewed apples with goat cheese), and Potato Bread (what it says on the tin)!

Today's a half day, so no dinner posting tonight! Might share something else I've been working on for a couple weeks though~

my fav part of the iwtv vampires is that all of them, louis, armand, lestat, the coven, all of them are miserable and cruel and they lie to save themselves - which makes sense when, even though they pretend to be immortal gods among men, they live each day fearing death, either by their own fault or by another vampire - but at least louis has the decency to admit when he was wrong, or clarify when he doesn't remember something clearly as the series goes on. he loses some of his artifice, even if he is still arrogant or violent or miserable at times, and the power dynamic between him and daniel is wildly imbalanced, he returns to memories and moments he has already described and tries to describe it again and again, trying to get the picture right this time, tries to wait with his camera at night until the light hits something just right to finally get a good shot. unworthy to tell his story in san francisco, but maybe worthy in dubai

anyone have any favorite savory meal recipes with no alliums (onion/garlic/scallion/leek/chive/etc) or nuts (peanuts included, but sesame and coconut ok though) or bananas that are vegetarian and ideally aren't super lactose heavy?

these are the allergies (plus lactose intolerance) of the ttrpg group i've been doing potlucks with every week for a while and i'm good whenever i make desserts and sides and stuff but whenever i make main courses ive mostly ended up making either south indian food or italian foods that verge on too cheesy so i wanna see where else i could branch out with this
